Mittel-X-Pipes von JBA anschauen.
Diese Komponente
wurde entwickelt um eine möglichst grosse Leistungssteigerung mit
kernigem V8-Auspuff-Sound für die wiedergeborene Shelby-Legende zu
erzielen. Dieses neue Mittel-X-Pipe aus Chromstahl verfügt über einen
Chromstahl Katalysator mit hohem Durchstoss. Die Anschlüsse für die
Sensoren sowie alle anderen Befestigungshaken sind an den gleichen
Stellen wie beim Werks-X-Pipe. Flanschen werden mitgeliefert.
Ist dieses X-Pipe installiert,
reduziert sich der Rückstau und ermöglicht eine erhebliche
Performancesteigerung und einen „gesunden“ Sound.
Die Installation
dauert mit den korrekten Werkzeugen ca. 1 Stunde. Die Installation
dieses X-Pipe benötigt einen entsprechende 3“ Auspuffanlage.

If you’re looking
to get even more power from your GT500, check out these high-fl ow 3”
midXpipes™ from JBA. These precision built components are engineered to
deliver a huge increase in performance for the re-born Shelby legend
with a powerful exhaust note. The new midXpipes™ feature mandrel-bent
stainless steel tubing, metal substrate high flow stainless steel
catalytic converters, factory style fl anges and hangers, and provisions
for 02 sensors in the stock locations. Once installed, these components
open up the exhaust system reducing backpressure and enabling
substantial performance gains and a healthy change in the exhaust note.
Installation can be done in about one hour with common tools. These
midXpipes™ are designed to work in conjunction with factory manifolds
with the JBA 3” Stainless steel GT500 exhaust.

original rendering of the Mustang Bertone signed by Giorgetto Giugiaro.
As you probably know, Giugiaro was Bertone's designer in 1964, when the
Italian coachbuilder custom made this Ford Mustang on behalf of
Mr Scott
Bailey, editor & publisher of Automobile Quarterly.
